Preservation Austin’s 2024 Homes Tour is coming up on April 20-21! In this year’s tour, the ten historic homes featured embody more than a century of Austin’s remarkable heritage –– from a log cabin to mid-century marvels and everything in between. At Clay Imports, we are so excited to support the work Preservation Austin does year-round to preserve Austin’s heritage and this year could be one of the most exciting tours to date.

What’s the Austin Homes Tour?
Preservation Austin has been an advocate and steward of our city’s historic places, ever since their foundation in 1953, for generations bearing witness to Austin’s incredible growth.
As part of this effort, the Homes Tour, which takes place every spring, showcases our community's diverse heritage and incredible neighborhoods. The Homes Tour is Preservation Austin’s marquee event and most important fundraiser and a must for both designers and aficionados alike.
Preservation Austin’s Homes Tour is the prime event of its kind that brings together architecture, culture, and history to celebrate what makes our city special. This event connects the audience with historic spaces in such personal ways, celebrating stewardship of these homes and showing the endless adaptability of historic buildings to 21st century living.

The whens and wheres to this year’s Homes Tour
The 2024 Homes Tour will take place on April 20 and April 21. On Saturday, April 20, we’ll tour five charming homes across Austin and on Sunday, April 21, five other lovely homes around town will be on display. Homes will be open from 10 am - 5 pm each day.
The Block Party in the Rogers-Washington-Holy Cross Historic District will take place Saturday, April 20 from 12pm to 4pm. There’s also a special VIP Party set for Tuesday, April 16.
